Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Keeps the gang together until retirement. Give flexibility throughout the forward group. Good Goalie competition. The D is a little questionable, but can be serviceable if there aren't any major injuries (yes, I know this is Pittsburgh.) It gives a little cap space for moves in the future if needed and adds draft picks for to following year (which is supposed to be deep.)

Detroit passes, It's Pettersson or we look elsewhere no need for a 30 year old Dumoulin.

Yeah the odds of Hextal keeping Letang, Malkin and Rust and signing Trocheck is slim to none. Letangs heads home to Montreal and Rust heads home to Detroit. Depending on Backstrom could see Malkin in a Capitols Jersey next fall

And GM aren't going to bail out Pittsburgh and their cap dumps, both Matheson and Zucker will need more than those pieces to be moved. And FYI Vancouver needs RD not LD so Matheson needs to be Marino.

Curious to know the logic behind Ottawa giving you a good young player who was over a point per game in his short stint after joining the team for what basically amounts to spare parts in McGinn and Almari..?
