You are either very much overvaluing your own players or severely undervaluing others. MIN, ANA, DAL and LA trades aren’t particularly close imo

Kings say no 2 players with a bright future for a player who is 30 is a no-go.
Minnesota definitely says no Hartman brings so much on a great contract and they have roughly 12 million dollars they cant use because of suter and parise buyouts.
Anaheim I could possibly considering.

Good post. I think you have picked some good targets. Some may cost a little more.

Also, I watched a lot of the Pens/Rangers series and for most of it, it didn’t look to me like Pens forwards were getting pushed around as much as you say.

But they did appear unable to dial up the energy at times, especially without 87. Rangers looked younger.

Nothing to interest Anaheim in the slightest (it's particularly laughable to think that the Ducks, who won't be contending next year, would be interested in a 30-year-old rental with a cap hit of $5.5 million) because Comtois is already what you hope Hallander and Zahorna will be.

Kings aren't about to trade Faber and Kupari is expected to fill a position on the third line next season; we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Brian Dumoulin's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to acquire a rental veteran LD; and the idea that we'd want to re-sign Dumoulin once his last year is up is entirely speculative.

I like this except I think you are too expensive on defense.
Maybe drop MP to add MAF instead of Comrie and bring allow Friedman to play.

I love Rakell
PIT FINALLY LISTENED TO YOU MAN!!!

a couple players will cost a lil more $ I think but this post has a lot of good ideas...
I'd love to get trochek or Forsberg but I doubt we'll have the $ unless one of geno/tanger leaves...

not a fan of that d-core tho... I don't think Pettersson has shown to be more than a #4 rn so imo we need either 3 2nd pairs with balance or try to get a top-pair D somehow...
