So two cap dumps, mediocre prospect and a mid to late 1st for a good player (though bad long term contract), a good goalie prospect and a 3rd? Blues decline this easily.

Wouldn't call Matheson, a good top 4 d man, a cap dump at 4mil. Trade's pretty even in my view. Blues really do not need Hofer is husso is staying

Did Dumo fall off that bad in one year? He's a top pairing DFD I'm not sure why Pitt. would let him go. They outplayed the rangers. They don't need a new identity, they need to stay healthy

Husso only a year younger than Binnington and someone will likely overpay for him. As far as Matheson is concerned, he had a much better season for sure, but I'm thinking it's similar to Barbashev. One good season and a team will try to sell high. Cap dump accusation is a little harsh, but I dont forsee him getting any better

That's 2 straight seasons of Matheson being very good, beginning to think it's a real trend

Blues pass, these pieces are not enticing and they can't afford it anyway.
