Well, the #2 pick is too much for Fiala on its own.
If something substantial like Addison isn't coming back to NJD along with Fiala for #2, I think you should try your luck with Ottawa instead.

I’m a Wild fan and I’m tired of seeing the 2ovr pick proposal. It’s not happening man.

I think the only chance the devils consider a 2nd ovr deal is Fiala, Addison, and a good third asset. I know Minnesota wouldn’t be interested
Dumba is not a "franchise player"

There is no way the Devils trade 2OA for Fiala. Pick#37 can probably be had from Jersey, but not 2OA for just Fiala

By "franchise player" I meant spokesman more than on the ice. He's great as a face of the franchise.

Thanks for level setting me on the 2 OA. Ottawa is a good idea. I've also heard the Isles might be interested. Anyone heard more on either of those fronts?

I don’t think the Devils are out at all. Just 2OA would be out of the mix, unless Minnesota gives more up.
Personally, I’m not sure teams will be willing to give up their top 10 picks, when they know Minnesota doesn’t have any leverage. 2nd and a good prospect is what I’m expecting, but a bidding war could bring 1st rounders into play

I am guessing Buffalo, Anaheim could be options too. Good prospect pools and both have an extra 1st rounder they could deal.

NJ probably makes a play for Fiala, but without that pick. There is a personal connection to Hischier and Siegenthaler that could keep it alive.
