I wouldn't pay that price for Strome. I think Thomson is going to be an important part of the Blueline for Ottawa, and I'm not a Strome guy at all. Ottawa needs a winger not a C, and I think they need someone a lot better at driving play than strome too.

beans a good young dman and a first doesnt make sense for just murphy. lassi thompson seems like a good d prospect and a second doesnt make too much sense for strome but i could see it happening. this isnt necessarily my place to talk just giving my thoughts

I think Kubalik is more a 3rd rd guy after this season, at that point it is better for Chicago just to keep him and hope he rebounds
the value is fair on Dylan strome (maybe slightly in chi favour probably). I do not think Ott is a good trade partner for them
I think that would be a good trade for both cbj/chi if it was a cbj 2023 t16 protected that transfers to 2024 if it is a lottery pick in 2023. bc Murphy is actually pretty good and is what cbj needs on pair one with werenski.
Chi/sjs trade seems fine to me

I am not trying to be overly critical but you did ask for feedback.

turn the 1st to a 3rd. Bean is essentially worth a 2nd, and Murphy is not worth a 1st and 2nd

I don't see CHI selling Murphy without a 1st IMO.

will probably be to a contender then, not columbus who's pick could be anywhere from 10-18 next year

Switch 12OA to a second and maybe Foudy or bemstrom. Murphy isn’t worth a mid first and another D man who was traded for a second last year and probably improved his value

Bean can be switched out. Not imperative to this move.

A good Shutdown D who can play big minutes. Would think he could be a good partner for Werenski and at a reasonable cap and term. Also from the area.

Hmm, couldn't tell because he was playing on a bad Chicago Blackhawks team

I’m fine with Bean being included. It’s the 12OA that makes the jackets decline

Value is fine, but OTT isnt the team to make this trade.

Yeah that trade is not attractive at all and the Sens don't need Strome.

They need a Winger with high end skill and who can skate to play with Stutzle (so you could keep Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson intact)

Strome is worth a 1st + 2nd? I'm not sure

He is worth a former 1st yet to crack into the NHL, and a 2nd yeah

I don't know if you watch Belleville games but Thomson totally rebuilt his stock since coming to NA

I wrote him off the season prior season, he had like 3rd round pick value to me. But since 2021, it changed and was even impressive in 2021-22. Troy Mann raved about him and he didn't look out of place in the NHL, even showed some really good things

I can guarantee that the Sens wouldn't trade him for anything less than a 1st in value

Anyway, doesn't matter, Strome isn't what they are looking for.
