Yeah sorry but I don’t know what makes you think Stevie “Best GM of all Time” Yzerman is gonna let Tyler Bertuzzi, the best power forward in the league by the way, walk in free agency

Zero chance of Tyler Bertuzzi making it to free agency, Yzerman either signs him or he's traded to a team that will sign him long term period.

    You sure about that?

What if DET does well next year but Bertuzzi decides to test the free agency anyway? Is DET really trading him or would they keep him as their own rental?

Maybe I don't understand offer sheets fully.

How do you offer sheet Liljegren at 4.1 but have him for two years at 2.4?

Well you offersheet him in the 2022 offseason for 4.1 million by 1 year (like the KK offersheet) and after that he takes a lower deal since he isn’t worth that much in the long term (comparable Fabro contract, and KK did the same with taking a 1.5 million pay cut the following year). The reason you do the 4.1 is because I don’t think the Leafs have the cap flexibility to match that.

    Goes like this:

    2022-23: 4.1
    2023-24: 2.4
    2024-25: 2.4
