I think the Tyler Myers trade is fair but I think he’s the wrong target for the leafs imo

Massively over paying paul, getting ripped off for kerfoot and nylander and addin an absolute pylon in myers is undoing damage?

I think Myers would fit very well next to Rielly he isn’t the Pylon you think he is & also how tf am i getting ripped off on Willy i get Konecny at 3 for 3 thats a good deal & the biggest aspect of the Kerfy trade is the cap relief. Also if Paul is overpayed i’ll just give palat 5.5 or what do you think paul would get cause the cheaper the better for this leafs team

Myers is a pylon, he is terrible defensively and that pairing would be an utter disaster. He has been a defensive liability his entire career and now his offence has dried up almost completely. He's just bad, no matter how much canucks fans tell you otherwise.
You are getting ripped off for Nylander because you are downgrading significantly. It wouldnt matter if konecny made 2$, he's not in the realm of valuble nylander is.
A cap casualty usually involves at least some value coming back, and that kerfoot trade has none.
Paul is a 2.5 million dollar player, and giving 31 year old palat more money is a bad idea too

You actually met our asking price.

Our asking price is what the Islanders gave us for JG Pageau.

If it is lottery protected, you would need to give us a 2nd instead of a 3rd.

Considering that we're trading Brown to a division rival and we're retaining more salary than we did on Pageau.

I think that can work also i don’t think Leafs will be in the lottery so unprotected could be fine

Konecny with 40-50% retention for Nylander is actually a really interesting idea.
Nylander's obviously better but the Leafs can use that 3-4 mil on some good players.
