I think Fiala would be a good fit for LA. Not sure if they would be interested in Dumba, but I thought I'd ask.

Kings might look at Fiala, but they don't need another RHD.

Kings aren't good enough to pay that much for a rental in Dumba.

I'd also rather the Kings just go the free agency route than pay that much for Fiala.

Both fair trades value-wise, but the Dumba trade makes no sense for LA (especially if they're already giving up a bunch of futures to acquire Fiala too)

Fiala trade looks about right, the Wild are getting waaaay too much for Dumba there though.

I mean, it's a pick and a 20 yr old prospect in juniors for a year of Dumba and he would probably resign at 4 - 5M.

What's the current outlook on Vilardi?

This is what I'm most curious about. Vilardi has all the tools you want in a center aside from skating, but every time the Wild have played the Kings he has just looked mediocre

The Kings are still high on him. Frequent injuries caused his development to stagnate for a while, but he seems to have put all those behind him, and looked real good at the end of the season. I expect him to be the next breakout player for the Kings next season. I don't think they'll move him. They'll probably dangle other prospects instead.

Yes, and I think it's still too much. He's injury prone and when healthy clearly isn't the player he was 4-5 years ago. I think he gets maybe a 2nd round pick by itself, if they find a willing partner.

@TanSor and I have been high on him for years, so I can see why they'd be high on him. I'm glad he's panning out and I really hope we could get him somehow smile But I can completely see why we wouldn't
