Kerfoot is better then a young jake bean? I do this deal to get the funds for kuemper.

Yes, he is. Kerfoot is a 2nd liner who can play wing and c, can pk play on the power play and if needed fill on on the top line
"Young" jake bean turns 24 in less than a month and has put up only middling nhl numbers at best

I said that the reason we make this deal is to address defense and goaltending. Give me a better deal then the one I did.

The Jackets would never do that. We dont want Kerfoot, and definitely not giving up a defenseman to get him.

With the addition of the 1st I think we would. Maybe change the 3rd and 5th going back to just a 4th.

I would do it to get the first. The 23 draft class is stacked and we could use the extra first to move up next year

Leddy was a LD, which we needed. Holl is a RD, which we don't need.

you don't need rd? lol how many times did the wings get blown out this season. 2nd most goals allowed this season.

A LD Leddy was a need, Holl is RD and isn't a need because we have Seider, Hronek and Lindstrom on the right side.

No the LD is different with Edvinsson, Probably trade or sign for LD and sign Staal. It would be a lot different on the LD side.

Could see Yzerman trading for one of Marcus, Pettersson, Alec Martinez or Nate Schmidt to pair with Seider. That would help or sign Chiarot or Zadorov to short term deals.

I can't believe I am saying this, but...

CBJ accept the trade for Kerfoot.

We need to clear out LD...Bean was someone who CBJ put in a bad position this year, and while I don't think they'll actively look to move him, I'd consider him expendable.

I'd add Bemstrom going to TOR. take away the 3rd. If TOR wants to add Playoff protections to the 1st, sure. If picking up Kerfoot means KJ or Marchy or Chinny spend extra time in CLE, so be it. Then trade Kerfoot at TDL.
