I think you're a long ways off on the Toronto and Tampa trades.

The 11th overall and a starting goalie for them? What they want?

Lightning won't move him unless it's a massive overpayment because he's their best player at their worst position (Edit: and on a super cheap deal). I don't even want to say what they would want because I don't know and if I guessed you'd get mad.

Didn't realise he was that important for Lightning, was just picking a 2/3 pair RD on a cheaper deal who is more defensive in nature

Maybe try Zub even though I've heard from Ottawa fans that he'll probably resign

Oh and he's RD1 on the back-to-back champs. So I'd say he's not really a 2/3 pair man

Thanks for the information smile I sort of assumed he was playing 2nd pair. Sergachev still on 3rd pair?

He has been McDonagh's partner for most of the last few years, but he's PK1 and played as Hedman's partner in the Toronto series. And yes all the LD's are still seperated

too much? lol We are taking on a goalie who you have buried in minors, an expensive bottom 6 player with significant years left and youre getting a right shot D who played the highest minutes in regular season and still put up ~50pts on a garbage sharks team who can barely score.
Faksa + Dobby have negative value together, Burns is till valuable to whoever he plays for so giving up a pick and a maybe middle 6 winger seems pretty reasonable to me

A 2nd and two cap dumps doesn’t get a 50+ point defenseman whose third in ice time amongst defenseman.

I could honestly go either way when it comes to him. Yes he’s still good. But he’s also 37 with term remaining and not many teams can take his full cap without retention. And most all of the teams that can would rather keep the picks. I could see both second round picks, but just because Dell hasn’t developed as quickly as some doesn’t mean he’s a throw in. I can also promise you Nill doesn’t see Faksa as the over paid cap dump that he is
