If I am boston I would take that even Ullmark was good, Boston has options in FA that could complement Swayman who can take on more starts next season.

Ullmark has a no-move clause in his contract, he would need to agree.

I'm a huge Matt Roy fan and think he would fit well with the Sabres. But that price is a little steep. If they'd do Johnson (who was a 1st rounder) and maybe a mid-round pick for Roy I'd be very interested.

If Buffalo wanted Ullmark back that much they would have offered him the contract Boston did a year ago. Unlike Matt Roy a lot, but you’re overpaying in that trade too.
