Wow this shows why Chicago needs a rebuild! the should invest in a better scouting department ASAP!

Chicago’s scouting department hasn’t been that bad actually, and this team isn’t terrible besides the fact that they have had very few picks between 2010 and 2016 due to chasing 3 cups and moving cap dumps when needed.

yea but good teams still find gems in late rounds, Like Tampa for instance.
just not enough solid players drafted over the last 10 years.

Draft picks are like magic beans, I’d also say there are some decent prospects that aren’t listed here that Chicago has like, Mitchell and Reichel. You also have to remember they brought in Panarin from the KHL, Suter from the Swiss league, traded a 5th to get Kubalik, so just because they didn’t draft a player doesn’t mean they have bad scouts.
So maybe their amateur scouts aren’t the best, but they have some good pro scouts.
