Hawks decline. Nemeth is a cap dump and if they want georgiev they can just sign him in free agency when new York doesn't.

I bet Copp and Strome get closer to $6,000,000 per than $5,000,000 per long term. Both will have tons of suitors driving up their price tag.

NY has control of him as an RFA, they could match anything under the minimum compensation and they’d get a 3rd if it's above that value which is the value I am placing on dumping nemeth

I think they could both get 6M especially in open market UFA. Generally players sign a little cheaper to stay unless it is a known thing they want to test FA or are uncertain of a team’s future. i feel that the rangers are in a position where both of them feel like they got enough money and trust the future of the team to be good.

VAN says no.
nucks aint trading hogs unless its for a proven player thats better or has more poteinal. krasvtov could be nice but i think its a risk. hogs fits so well with VAN and getting goodrow is jsut going to put them in more cap issues.

Dickinson regressed big time in Vancouver, Goodrow wasn’t bad in NYR (not fantastic tho) but he will be hard to afford down the line in NY. vitali definitely upped his stock in his KHL time this yr and Hogs had a little bit of a sophomore slump. I would consider moving the draft pick up to make Vancouver happier in this situation

happier? dont get what you mean by that. hoglander is going to have a bounce back year. sophomore slump as you said but he is atleast putting up 40 points.
if goodrow is casuing cap issues for NYR then why on earth would VAN want him? dickinsion regressed big time, yes he did. found his game at the end of the year too. battled with injuries and we either trade him this offseason or we play him 3rd line. not too high on vitali. we alr have podz whos a PWF

Unfortunately that trade is a no go from the nucks, It would take a big offer to move the hog for the name alone

Not enticing enough for us at this point in time.

Much rather have the 3rd to take nemeth.
