Detroit declines. Lindstrom is no star by any means. But Boqvist doesn't move the needle. I'd sooner have the better Boqvist.

Seems about fair if we are committing to Mercer or Sharangovich or Zetterlund as 3C.

Boqvist could be a sneaky good buy for a team that needs a speedy, creative center. He never really got a chance to play an offensive role in NJ. His defense is okay, and his skating ability is fantastic.

Boqvist would look good in a Red Wing jersey but we don't have a replacement for Lindström so will have to decline.

Detroit has like 4 guys that play 3C and 8-10 that should be considered bottom 6 talent. I'm not sure we need Boqvist to do the same. Besides, at 37% in FO's, is he really a C?
