I think you would have to take Crouse out

I don't see Mike Hoffman be trade because of is contract, the only teams who I could see going for in trade is Nashville to play with Duchene and trying to rebuild chemistry between them.

Armia is a cap dump execpt if he's able to replay like in playoffs in 21. But even then, is contract is hard to swallow.

Byron could be a good addition in deadline next year's with 50% retain salary to a competitive team who want to add a bit of speed, offensive and experience. At best maybe getting a third round pick for it.

The third round pick from Carolina would be a low one as they are still in playoffs right now.


Now the second round pick from MTL is the piece with the most value as MTL is last in standing it mean that the pick will be the first in second round. At number 33 there still could be a good prospect to build but the value don't equal Crouse alone not even calculating the other cap dump negative value impact.


Maybe as a starting point for talk about potential trade opportunitie with Arizona for Crouse and MTL could be a prospect b like J.Struble or Ylonen with a second pick from MTL . After that you could try to add around those thing.

Crouse is next AZ captain. Not going anywhere.
