Description
Sharks need to embrace a rebuild, while they also need cap space, which isn’t a good combination.

Keys for the Sharks:

2. Develop and build up your prospects
3. Hire a GM who can truly see through this team

Hopefully the Columbus trade is really to anyone, because I can’t see them trading a 3rd for a 4th liner.

hes a bottom 6 guy who scored 16 goals on a bad team and is a PK staple, 3/4 th should be fair IMO.

It's about the CBJ not having a need for him, not what his worth is. They're currently over stocked with forwards and need to get rid of 3-4.

Totally fair, were in the same boat. i would actually prefer to keep him and play him on the 4th line this year, still a top PK guy and 10-16 goals from a 4th line C is pretty awesome.

I wouldn't want the Devils to do this. Reimer is 34 with one year on contract and selling low on Ty Smith doesn't seem like smart asset management.

the signings and trades are a bit off IMO
Burns will probably be a 1 for 1 kind of deal, to Dallas I've sen Burns for Benn a few times and fits both teams needs.
Reimer is way to sharks sided, Sharks would probably take Ty Smith or the 2nd and 3rd but both is probably not Likely.
Labanc is a neg value guy after his bad yea and i doubt any team takes him on for more than future considerations.
same with Simek.
Gregor and Dahlen showed a little last year but i feel they both get a show me 1 year deal for just under or right at 1 mil.
and Kahkonen comps have him closer to 2 yr 2.2-2.5 and I would bet on a deal almost identical to Hills from last year.

overall though i would be ok with this lineup and the added draft capitol.

They've already got Kuraly for 4C who scored 14g and 16a this year.

that's not a typical point production from a 4th line guy! usually your happy with 8-16 point from 4th line guys.
Lucky you guys.

Sorry, I thought you were still making an argument that Columbus should take Bonino when I said that. Didn't read your comment properly heh.

no worries. yea you guys would have zero need for him if your already getting solid point production from your 4th line.

No way devils do that trade. Maybe a pick for him but not giving up on Smith so soon.

Wouldn't do either. Max I would pay for Reimer is a 3rd. If Sharks say no then Devils could just sign a goalie in FA
