Zaitsev's deal is bad, but shouldn't be too difficult to pawn off on a team like Arizona. Adding cap like this is totally pointless when the goal needs to be clearing that money (and that player) off the books completely.

No, Jason Dickinson doesn't equal Rasmus Kupari, even without the meaningless retention that costs Vancouver a retention slot. That's like saying Austin Wagner = Nils Hoglander. And I doubt we go higher for Garland than Helge Grans plus our 2022 second-round draft pick.
