fortuately for us, Ron Hextall is 58. I actually don't mind the deal, I don't like selling low on Kappy

Detroit does not now, nor ever, want:
Kerfoot, Holl or Muzzin, regardless of cost.

I like the detriot trade and the isles one, but not a fan of the pittsburg one. It's not that I think it's unfair, or even that I don't like Kappy (because I do), but the leafs tried playing him at left wing and it did not work. There isn't any reason to believe he'll be cheaper or better than Kerfoot. Just trade Kerfoot for picks.

Detroit passes, RD is our current strength.

Zero chance of Kapanen taking a paycut to play in Toronto.

Petr Mrazek has no reason to waive for Arizona, And it will take far more than a 3rd round pick to move him.

Semyon Varlamov has a 16 team no trade list, And you can guarantee that Toronto is pretty much on it.

Detroit declines. No need for Holl in Detroit either.

I don’t see any team taking the Mrazek contract unless the prize is nice. 3rd’s are not worth 7.6M is wasted money. Attaching a 2nd will have 5 teams considering it yet not likely to happen. It’s more likely there’s some Robidas island business happening in the next 6 months

Holl is worth about 6th especially after that pick in game 7. Tavares scores that goal even without Holl's pick.

You are probably right. I'm not sure he returns a 3rd. I think a 4th is most likely.

Holl's a fine RD3 on a reasonable expiring deal, I'd assume someone who doesn't get their guy in UFA wouldn't mind sending out a 3rd/4th for him.
