Why not? Nylander could help upgrade their top 6, and they get a few good picks in there? How much do you think the Leafs would have to give up for Nashville to consider this deal?

Uh.. they would be a bottom 3 team without Saros. He isn't available.

But they have Ingram and Askarov. That should set them up pretty well

Losing Saros would send NSH to the basement for the remainder of Nylander's contract. Askarov and Ingram likely need 2-3 years before they're ready to become starters (if Ingram does have that potential - he could very well top out as a solid backup/2A type).

He player a position they don’t need and doesn’t fit they’re style of play

With the lost of Filip Forsberg, Nashville will need offensif player to remplace what they lost but Saros is untouchable at the moment.

Maybe they will move out one of other two goaltender prospect to help boost they're offense. They have good asset to do trade or could go cheaper option like a Mike Hoffman who could rebuild is chemistry with Duchene and bring a 20 to 30 goal season.
