Red wings decline. No room at the Inn for Bailey and no reason to do it without getting an asset for taking his 10 mil over two years.

This team wouldn’t make the playoffs. Selling low on Beauvillier and trading a 2022 1st + Wahlstrom for a 2nd pair is milbury-esque

Detroit passes, No room for josh Bailey. Detroit's looking at getting younger not older.

Nick Leddy wanted $4,500,000 x 4 years to remain in Detroit, he's Not taking less to play on Long Island.

And on what planet can Vegas afford Semyon Varlamov when they're already miles over the cap?

Pretty sure if Vlad Namestnikov doesn't resign with Dallas, he's probably coming back home to Detroit where he wants to be.

The only way that trade makes sense is if Lehner is going back. This would give us 4 goalies at 14 million. Not ideal

You are an unintelligent person if you unironically think this team doesn't make the playoffs.

Forsberg is pretty much guaranteed to regress next season and this is one of the worst middle 6’s in the NHL. That 4th line has two players that won’t be NHL caliber next season. Kind of hard to make the playoffs when most of your bottom 9 can’t keep up with other teams.

Leddy was a below replacement defenseman level defenseman this past season and Chychrun can’t even play a full season. This team likely wouldn’t make the playoffs.
