With the amount of young talent we have on LD getting Chychrun (at whatever price, I know this isn't enough) is a very bad idea for Detroit.

Pierre Dorion would need to offer sheet Filip Zadina $4,000,000 for Yzerman to gladly accept a 2nd round pick for him.

Good luck on the Raymond and Seider offer sheets considering both will be locked up at big money and term as early as next summer. There's no way yzerman will let them come close to being offer sheet candiates.

Same with Hronek all will be locked up before they can be offer sheet material.

My point was that if any team got offer-sheeted, that same team would respond with an offer-sheet of their own eventually.

It would start a tit-for-tat between the two teams.

Much like what happened between Montreal and Carolina over Aho and Kotkaniemi.

How would you respond as Pierre Dorion if another team offer-sheeted Norris?

How would you respond if another team offer-sheeted Cirelli, Colton, Sergachev, Cernak or Foote?
