    I think the Kane idea is fascinating. That's a lot to give up for a rental but the concept of this trade intrigues me for sure

    Not really when Nylander is a 2 year rental basically. Hawks likely would pass on this idea. Kane is a stable and sells a lot of tickets and merchandising. If the Hawks move him and Kane agrees, would be unlikely to a Canadian team, but there would be a lot of teams willing to give up more is my guess. Would take a higher 1st rounder and a very good prospect versus a 2 year rental and a late 1st.

    Don't think Toronto has the pieces they are willing to move for Kane and I highly doubt Kane would waive to play for a Canadian team. I agree though, Kane would be a better partner then Marner for Matthews, and that's saying a lot as Marner is very good.
