Devils reject that offer instantly in my opinion. I think slafkovsky will be way better than timo, and more of a physical presence next to Hughes. Also I think he’ll have a better shot than timo does. Also labanc hasn’t had a year in which he has lived up to his 5 mil dollar contract. So I wouldn’t touch labanc and also, the devils have pieces and don’t need labanc. Easy decline for the devs imo. Also Wood is an underrated asset and it would be a mistake for the devils to let him go. The devils need more players like wood

Why would the sharks trade a 25 yo coming off a ppg season for a prospect and a 4th liner?

I think it's more that SJS needs to rebuild and the 2OA pick is the value, not Wood.

But they aren’t rebuilding, they’ve made that abundantly clear, so obviously they aren’t making this trade or anything close

I don't think it is
Seems pretty decent in value but both teams decline IMO

Well, in the end we are on the same side. Neither of us want this trade.

Yeah I was gonna say Meier for 2OA, and clearing 7 million in cap isn't a bad offer. Whether the Sharks take it or not is a whole other story but value wise its there.
