Am I wrong for thinking the Avs DJ playing the Oilers walkout song with just over a hundreds seconds left in a one goal game.. is well just a bad idea?

This actually makes Makars case worse in this view imo. He literally puts the puck past the line. Like he is still in control he never “lost control”.

Not sure why Barrie was left on for a 2-minute shift when Bouchard has the bigger shot.

Game 1 worth the price of admission. If my math is correct, that's the most shots (and goals?) the Avs have surrendered in the playoffs thus far. Onto game 2.

Bouchards had a great arc.

Guy is really coming into his own.

I didn't mind Barrie being out there, I thought he had a solid night looked great with the puck, best he has looked in a while

Toews, Manson, and JJ were pretty bad that game. Sucks not having Girard for this series - seems like the type of style he would thrive in

It would have been like the chin strap situation or that random Holl penalty. Nobody would have liked it but than the panel would have explained why it was allowed/called and then a big debate would erupt.

I come back from my baseball game, and my first thought was "typical Mike Smith". Name a worse game 1 goalie lol. At least it's not game 7's he sucks at (unlike somebody I know).

For more than 2 minutes and he's gonna be the guy that has to skate miles if the Avs clear?

Bad call by Woodcroft but it turned out to be mostly inconsequential. I still think a Bouch Bomb from the point with all that traffic in front probably puts this game into the extra frame.

Campbell isn't bad during game 7, on the contrary , he's been great, just his team can't score goals

It was always funny with Anderson

He would go from a Wall in games 1-5 to a guy who let beachballs in games 6 and 7

Like it would have been nice to see how he did with the Canes in the post season but I got a feeling it would have not ended well especially considering the fact Canes for some reason couldnt win a road game.
