The flames not having Tanev in the lineup due to injury honestly reminds me of whenever Muzzin would be out for us in the post season

The holes in the Dcore become so noticeable its like your staring at Swiss Cheese

Nobody is taking over or doing a good enough job to fill in. Thats something that will need to be addressed

Agreed. Gudbranson should be sent to a place far far away

I'm honestly kinda mad Tanev wasn't out against Dallas except for one game.

Would've made scoring for us so much easier and that was our greatest weakness.

He’s still not a good person, but I will admit I was very much wrong about him in Edmonton. He’s fit like a glove and hasn’t had any off ice troubles.

He’s playing himself into a long term deal in another city. I’ll take it

Flames priority next year besides the 2 extensions

Bring in Tanev insurance

Trust me it works

But hey thanks to the Flames winning your coach left so win-win

Gretzky - 2.611 points per game
McDavid - 2.300 points per game (could be higher by nights end)

This kid is a freak. Nobody besides Lemeuix has ever sniffed Gretzky's production numbers. We're truly blessed to watch him do what he's doing right now.

I can’t wait for him to take the maple leafs to the cup in 2029!

Got to say based on seeing Tampa spank Florida in the second round

Tampa 3-peating went from a meme to I would say an 85% certainty

And this is not just from my whoever won between Tor vs. Tam would go to the finals

no no no

Tampa has basically done it again. Brisbois went out and did what he did when they got their first cup

Spent 2 1sts and brought in 2 good pieces for the bottom 6 (Paul and Hagel) I know Paul didnt cost a 1st but you get my point and created another terrifying 3rd line

As honestly would not surprise me if Paul-Colton-Hagel impact and metrics compare to or are better than Goodrow-Gourde-Coleman during their 2 playoff runs.

That's a lot of certainty tears of joy I'm not quite that sure... yet
I think the simpler explanation is that the Lightning are 6-0 (5-0 for now yes, but trying to see something) in the second round under Jon Cooper. We just don't lose in the second round.

I think Hagel is pretty similar to adding a younger Coleman, but Paul on the otherhand has been something else. I think he's been our defacto #1 center in the Florida series. I would have never expected that when I saw that trade pop up on a Sunday night in March.

Through watching the rest of the teams still left the one team who could maybe give them trouble is Colorado

As honestly everything in Tampa rn is just clicking and they once again got a solid third line that does everything

And that to me sealed the deal. As the big ? for Tampa going into the 3 peat conversation was would they adapt to losing that third line that got them 2 cups. Well not only did they adapt, they got a new 3rd line some could argue is better than the original

I honestly don't know if we have set lines anymore. I swear I saw everyone but Maroon and Bellemare play with Stamkos and Kucherov at even strength today.

Colorado is definitely a juggernaut until proven otherwise, but maybe its competition, or lack thereof? I mean Nashville was expected to be a sweep and the Blues have a messed-up goalie situation and some big injuries on defense. Would love to see an Edmonton v. Colorado WCF though.

Tkachuk makes a fair point to be honest, when he’s at the top of his game, Cody Ceci is nearly unstoppable

Fixed it for you. Though Tkachuk has a great point, if Calgary’s depth can overpower Edmonton’s okay goaltending, forward depth and defence, they easily win
