A few thoughts on the second round thus far:

1. I'm not putting the crown on Tampa's head quite yet, but this might be their most complete team yet. They just dominated the #1 seed w/o one of their top all-around players, Brayden Point. At some point, we need to start considering them a modern-day dynasty. No team has been this dominant in the Salary Cap Era. CHI had a great 6 year run, but they didn't have a superstar Goalie. This team has at least 4 future HOF players (Vas, Kuch, Stamkos, and Hedman) and a HOF coach and GM, imo.

2. Great to see Kadri and Evander Kane contributing in big ways this postseason. Both have overcome major adversity. Both are looking at major paydays this summer. Kadri just needs to keep his eyes off social media. Kane looks/sounds like he matured 5 years since he became an Oiler.

3. The Flames are too soft. They need to grind more. They'll never beat EDM in a skill game. I still think we're looking at a long series.

4. Rangers suck. I was rooting for a sweep, but now I hope they lose in Game 7 in triple OT. I. wanna see the look on Kreider's face.

5. Looks like the Avs depth and goaltending are gonna carry them past STL. These were their biggest shortfalls last year against Vegas. COL's top scorers have been relatively quiet thus far, but their role players have really stepped up, w/o sacrificing defensively.

blues fans ****ed up with the death threats to kadri

avs were dominant. kadri was unreal. a hattrick and assist. he's really responded well to the blues in general.

avs should have never traded o'reilly. the guy is money,

rosen taking out binnington is the turning point of this series.

the guys will have to have their heads up next game, especially kadri. if the blues start losing i fully expect them to start throwing greasy hits. perron trying to elbow kadri in the head after he score...

Vasi had an .898 save % at the end of the first round. After the second round he now has a .932 save % and had a ridiculous .981 in the 4 game sweep of the Panthers.

Vasi saw Otter going off in the first round and wasn't ready to give up his reign yet.

He was clearly going for the loose puck and if you look at the angle of his skates and trajectory he wasnt even going towards Binnington until the collision with Rosen. If they do anything to Makar just sit him the whole game. Have Manson or EJ on the ice at all times and put MacDermid in the lineup next game. There should be 0 tolerance for that


Can’t really disagree with anything said there, looks like Rosen mostly made him collide with Binner and Rosen himself did too

This is some pretty f’d up ****. It’s a fukcin hockey game, chill out. Nobody deserves this, can only imagine what he has had to deal with throughout his hockey career as a minority in a prominently white sport. Feel bad for the guy and his family.

On the COL train, give me a TBL vs COL final. Not just for Naz but that would be one hell of a Cup final

He's not wrong, it's Rosen and Kadri that take out Binnington and Rosen's pretty much why Kadri makes contact with Binnington so Rosen indirectly and directly is the reason Binner's hurt

Could the habs sign a bunch of guys to one year deals and then ship them off for assets. Some at 50% retained.

i think most decent players will get an offer with more term. maybe they could get a reclamation project or two.

Not really, most guys in UFA want term unless they’re a high risk high reward guy or very old, we also don’t have that many holes in our roster
