I had the Avs winning 6-3 with some money down and I was screaming for two empty net goals. Once the Blues tied - you know who I wanted to win.

If true, that folks is:

that causes a deflection/rebound off a defending player in the neutral
zone back into the defending zone (i.e. stick check, body check,
physical contact), a delayed off-side shall be signaled by the
Linesman.»

In this case "Attacking" player is crucial...offside. If a "Defender" produces the action - then onside.
No "s"

Doesn't change that both clubs still suck...LOL
