So you admit OEL has a terrible contract, but you still expect the Kings to give up a quality defenseman coming off a breakout year and the their future starting goaltender for him?

la has so many quality defenseman, losing durzi isn't going to affect them that much. Quick still has another year left in him, the kings can pick up a goalie better than petersen in free agency. And the kings need a left handed defenseman

Oliver Ekman-Larsson isn't waiving for LA.

And Miller and the #15 pick doesn't move you up 13 spots.

If they have so many quality defenseman, why are they trading for OEL?

The moves here heavily favor the Nucks overall. Especially the LA trade.

Next season, you should keep careful track of Demko's stats vs Petersen's.

Devils aren't a guaranteed playoff team with Miller

Only players they would consider trading the 2nd pick for from Vancouver is Demko or Quinn
