I think they make the deal. They have Askarov, and Ingram.

Holl is not gonna make Detroit's defense any better. We pass on him.

And what is that Saros trade. No way Nashville accepts.

In all seriousness, Holl can fetch the 5th on his own, maybe more. Make it a 4th.

I doubt Nashville is interested in trading Saros.

Askarov is years away from carrying a team. Saros is vezna quality at a miniscule cap hit. You keep that or you trade him for that piece you need but I don't think they move him for parts.

Detroit declines. Don't need Holl. Seider, Hronek and Lindstrom at RD.

Stevie trades picks all the time. It just makes more sense to trade one for Martinez, Pettersson or Schmidt. Dubas shouldn't have any problem trading Holl for a pick. RD just isn't needed in Detroit. LD is. I keep telling Habs fans this after each Petry to Detroit trade proposal.

I figured as the most sane redwings fan on this site you would be able to detect my sarcasm lol.

I don’t disagree with what you said, I just like poking fun at red wings fans.

I don't blame you really. The Petry and Bertuzzi trade proposals have taken its toll. LOL

Those, and the fact that red wings fans are the most likely to turn down a trade proposal.

Leafs fans are basically just as bad though so I’m one to talk lol.

“Yzerman is not trading Dylan Larkin and 3 first round picks for McDavid because Yzerman is the bestest GM in nhl history and he would draft 3 McDavids with those picks”

Redwings fans if that trade was in an ACGM, probably.

Robertson is an undersized, injury riddled, winger with just average skating speed.

Kerfoot is useless to a contending team looking for depth (not Nashville sans Saros)

Picks are nothing but fairy dust and happy thoughts.

Until Askarov gets nhl time, Saros only gets traded if he can net a useful return which this isn’t. This is an easy pass

There is no way saros is going to be traded and if he was it would be better than this proposal. Saros is already a top goalie in the league in the short time he last taken over for rinne and is still signed for 3 more years.
