For the Sens? Not really sold he’s even an upgrade on Forsberg at this point. Given the logjam of goalies in our pipeline I’d rather bank on one of the young guys hitting if we can’t bring in an established good goalie. We have 3 guys on 1-way contracts next year already.

Was thinking after the playoffs we all should make a potential whose likely to get bought-out and unqualified list and if it happens where does the player end up (Another NHL team, KHL, SHL, etc.). As apparently this year could be crazier than last year if Serevalli is correct

Well Kane most likely wants a cup so he'd go to a contending team imo, plus contending teams will most likely care less about his issues because they want a cup, I see him taking 1-2 year deals until he retires at like 4mil AAV

Well apparently per multiple reports his SJS contract could potentially get reinstated by an arbitrator if he or she deems that SJS didnt terminate it properly (i.e. follow all the rules)

So in a sense SJS could come out with a giant W in the end. As with his performance in Edmonton they could get a nice return (especially if SJS are willing to retain) and whoever trades for him only has to deal with him for 3 years.
