Leafs can open up cap space to sign Campbell. But I don't think they want to pay him Markstrom money. JC will get his money in UFA. Ullmark got 5 mil from Boston last summer.

true but there were other higher quality guys with him last year. theres literally 3 this year. look at the goalies that were signed last year... vs the goalie crop this year. even then ullmark got 5m x 4... coming off a 20 game 2.63 gaa and a .917 save%. i feel like his numbers were low because he was relatively unproven as a starter. he was a backup until last year. and then had a 41 game split this year with sway.

By the post suggestedt....he had 3.9m Hart and 3.8m Mrzarek on the team. A total of 7.7m. I would rather have 5.5m Campbell, 750,000 Kallgren and 1m buyout of Mrzarek off 7.25m and keep the picks.

But I agree with you, Leafs can't afford Campbell, unless they trade away with no cap coming back Nylander. But that idea has met so much derision from CF Leaf followings, who think Nylander is untouchable and Campbell with a discount for the love the Leafs.....yeah right.

Mrazek would be bought out, I just wanted to show the trade in this post.

Yeah right. Carter Hart is a star. What was I thinking?

definitely havent watched him play otherwise you wouldnt be this arrogant about an ignorant point at best. hes not the goalie his stats suggest lmao and no analytics can track how terrible the flyers defense has been these last 2 years
