He's better in his own end than he gets credit for, but he's nowhere near the offensive player he used to be before he tore his pec. He is prone to making a stupid play every few games, but most nights he is solid. He can be super physical at times as well, and his skating is very good. He has a very hard shot, but it's pretty inaccurate since the injury. I'd say he's a fine two-way player. He plays top pairing minutes for us, but he's probably better off on the 2nd pairing on a contender.

All that said, it sure sounds like Guerin has made up his mind and is moving Fiala and keeping Dumba, so I'd be really surprised if we traded him unless it were something we couldn't refuse. This package is not that.

Minnesota declines. With all due respect leafs nation, we have no need for Kerfoot. Minnesota isn't retaining on any trades. Our gm Guerin made ot clear dumba isn't getting traded. So with all that said, again respectfully no
