Wouldn’t be surprised to see Bennett & Weegar moved this offseason. Are the players Florida is getting in returned good? Good deflectors / shot blockers?

If the price is cheap enough,
then maybe the Sabres would consider Muzzin

Thing is, idk that we wanna pay our LD3 that much

Niemela is one of the Leafs top prospect (second to Knies), Robertson is a fine prospect (nothing really special), Leafs first round pick will be around the 20s, and Kerfoot had a 50 point season

I mean the value is there. I'm just not sure the team that just won the presidents trophy wants to give up one of their best Dmen and Bennett for Kerfoot and futures

not really. Kerfoot is pretty good 2-way forward that would slot in mid-6. Robertson is offensive prospect. I wouldn't expect a lot of defense coming from him. He also hasn't put up much offensively in his NHL career despite playing on lines with Leaf's top guys. Don't know much about the other prospect. I think the trade is a downgrade for panthers team that is trying to win now.

All I needed to know. Panthers would decline this. Thanks for info!

I’d definitely consider this if I were the Sabres. I’d only do it if I were sure Dahlin could play the season at RHD cause then I’d run:
Muzzin/Samuelsson-Dahlin
Power-Jokiharju
Muzzin/Samuelsson-Bryson

Whats the incentive for Anaheim here? 2 years of Nylander on a rebuilding team now without a starting goalie who otherwise would occupy the position for five years is the definition of bad asset management. And that's without even mentioning the boat anchor that is Petr Mrazek, who should cost you at least a second-round draft pick to dump (better to just buy him out, since you don't have a 2022 or 2023 second).

There is no need for Sabres to trade for 3 pairing LD and help division rival. No, no.

Robertson has played like 2 and half games in the Leafs top 6, during which time he scored. The majority of time that he's spent in the NHL he has been in the bottom 6 and mostly on the 4th line, much to my annoyance.
