Guerin absolutely said he's not trading dumba. Dumba literally just bought a home here in eagan and moved in with his girlfriend. So he's essentially not getting traded, and him saying this means he's taking a hometown discount being he's leaving in Minnesota year round now.

No one cares. This isn't the poster trying to predict the future, he's just tossing out an idea for people to discuss whether this makes the team better or worse. Dumba's personal situation doesn't matter at all for the conversation since he doesn't have a full NMC and no one on here knows which teams he has on his limited NTC.

Winnipeg isn't moving Scheifele in division for a rental and winger they don't need and don't have the cap space for.

Absolutely perfectly put, sir. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Thank you.

I've started flagging his posts and asking the mods to ban him when he makes a new account. They're getting much quicker about doing it, so that's awesome! smile

I can't imagine Guerin would like to see a motivated Kevin Fiala a few times a year either. That being said, with the rumors that the Jets might look at moving Scheifele, who do they even have to replace him in the top 6 to go with PLD?

Good job.

Yeah this has become a bit of an issue with Wild fan(s). There's this one guy who had like 10 different accounts.

Yup, that's just it. If Scheifele is going out the Jets need a top 6C back or maybe an RHD and try to re-sign Stastny. It's unlikely the Jets give up their center depth for a winger, as that's just going backwards.

I'm not sure what the Jets ownership is like and their appetite for a couple steps back, but it seems like if I were running the Jets (and wanted to retool) I'd be looking to move Scheifele to a team that is a center away from being a contender and has a nearly ready center to send back. An argument could be made the Wild could be that team, but their center prospect pool doesn't really match what the Jets might want back. Rossi isn't likely on the table and Khusnutdinov's KHL deal will keep him out of North America at least 2 more seasons I think. I'm blanking on anyone else they have in the system who could possibly be a top 6 type center.
