Jets decline vesalainen is playing in Europe now and his value is so low there's little point moving up like 20 spots at the end of the draft gonna ride his value up or out of the team for nothing think jesse puljarvi but a middle six option for a 3rd line type of deal but more 50 50 he comes back at that level

I really like the idea of offer sheeting Liljegren. It puts the Leafs in a bind and he's a promising young player...plus the league would be more fun if there were a few more offer sheets thrown around.

I like the idea of Buffalo offer sheeting here.. That way a team like Detroit can get a 1st and 2 contracts (Holl/ Mrazek / Muzzin / Kerfoot) in order for Toronto to match. Anyone who offersheets Torontos Dmen just push Toronto back further into a corner to give up more assets on clearance

Caps accept Eller trade. Not sure on Vanecek trade, they could probably get a second for him. I also do not know anything about the goalie coming back

Getting a 2nd would be fine as well. I am a fan of Portillo and he’s going to struggle getting time over Levi so I think the Caps could strike and have him develop in Hershey for a couple years after college.

I know you said any team but with the way Yzerman drafts and develops I think Detroit would rather keep the picks. Detroit would probably offer a prospect or a bottom 6 guy for Middlestadt if that interest you.

I think the Jets will send him a QO and see how it goes. If he works out in Malmo then his value (however little) goes up at the end of next season.

Edit: I don't see the Jets bringing him back.
