Description
Continue the vibes. Naz has been the best story in the playoffs and has handled the situation he is in amazingly. Also the perfect second line center for the sabres who is able to bring something they have been missing. Great mentor for cozens. I honestly have no idea he will cost but if it is much more, go somewhere else or keep casey

Not a bad trade for Konecny value wise, I just don’t think they’d move him for a player his age and ok picks. If he’s getting dealt from the Flyers I’d expect the package to be a first round pick and a prospect

I doubt Arizona would pick up Bjork on waivers. They're not trading a 3rd for him...

Yeah, think Philly would expect at least a first in a deal for TK but not a terrible idea

I take Kadri a million times out of a million, though I dont think thats something Adams would want to do. I dont think Dumba will justify the contract he wants, and Konecny is not an upgrade over Olofsson

I think they would pick him up on waivers, worth a shot to give the kid a chance, Arizona's top 6 is already a joke Bjork wouldnt hurt it

True, just looking at the trade from organizational need, olofsson can score at will which is something philly doesnt have, TK can muck it up and get under teams skin which is something the sabres dont have. Picks to compensate any differences. I dont think you get a high first (before 20 OA) for konecy so if you want the 28th overall that is fine but it probably removes olofsson completely

Buffalo would be better off being paid to take JVR’s contract off Philadelphia’s hands. It’s only one year and he provides some power forward leadership on a second or third unit, and maybe some powerplay time screening the goaltender. I’m not sure Kadri would sign here, but if he would go for it.

So you are suggesting - Konecny + JVR for 2nd and 3rd ? Buffalo should do it. They can get 3rd back, if JVR is traded with retention later on.

I’m saying forget about Konecny if his cost is that much. Unless this team is ready to make the playoffs now, (and if we don’t get a legitimate number one goaltender this year that’s not going to happen) that trade is too costly. I very much doubt Philadelphia would give him up just to be rid of JVR’s deal without getting something else significant in return. I like our young core and I don’t want to part with any of them. If for some reason Philly would give him up for a couple picks just for us taking on JVR, then sure, but they won’t.

MN accepts if this is offered. Don’t think anything close to this has been offered for Dumba the past two seasons. Otherwise he would’ve been moved already. Only hold up would be Dumbas 10 team no trade list.
