Kings...and maybe Muzzin say no. If yo truly think Larsson and Grubauer are good value, why does Seattle make that trade?

Muzzin declines this trade before the Kings can. As noted in the last 50+ Muzzin back to LA ACGM's here.

Most definitely not better than Gibson. Gruebauer was bad last season and a lot of his success in Colorado was more to do with his team than him. He actually graded out as average from advance stats point of view.

grub's not a bad buy low candidate but he does have a ntc. can't see seattle retaining tho.

I Think Kerfoot for one of Soucy/Larsson/Oleksiak makes sense for both teams, I do understand that the leafs probably do have to add there but I think Grubauer has less value than Mrazek atm. That being said Grubauer is my personal buy low candidate, last season was an outlier IMO but I think that itll scare off seattle enough to sell him at his lowest.

I think It'd go like this in terms of value; Soucy/Larsson/Oleksiak > Kerfoot > Mrazek > Grubauer.

Yeah if they dont want to retain then, I'd switch the trade to Kerfoot + Mrazek for Soucy + Grubauer

I mean the advanced stats have hated Gibson too for sometime now. Grubauer is cheaper and was a .920 goalie before this season, I think its a good bet all things considered

Well even if LA says no, I think the value there is fair for Muzzin. Consider it a placeholder team if anything.

Perhaps that should make both look very unwise.

Los Angeles isn't interested in this effort to shed significant cap.

Absolutely no interest in installing Jake Muzzin 2.0 even if he would waive his NTC, plus we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Jake's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to re-acquire Muzz. Will you Toronto guys please stop doing this? It's like the Montreal guys with their silly Jeff-Petry-to-Detroit trades.

I mean Andersen put up career low numbers in 2021, then performed at a Vezina level this past year. I think it'd be a smart bet to make

It's mostly a place holder team, I just put LA cuz I think it'd be a cute reunion LOL

I mean he was injured yeah but he took time off and still played like ass, and this past season he was definitely Vezina level. He'll probably be 4th in voting and was frankly snubbed for 2nd place IMO

I don't think so. He was in a good system that inflated his numbers. I am not sure I would have Andersen in my top 5 this past season. He's a good goalie though but he does let in bad goals too often
