NJ laughs. Allen is a rental tandem goalie, Mailloux isn’t a great prospect tbh, and 2 picks doesn’t pull it together, not even close

Mailloux is poison for a team, Habs are stuck with him. No one wants to bring that into their room, just asking for trouble.

That NJ trade is hilarious.. there are 30 other teams that would immediately have a better offer if this is what NJ floated out there as the "best offer"... Not even close

As for Petry. We take him off your hands along with your 1st round pick of 2023 unprotected. that's about the only way that is happening. Money and term are a problem there so its going to take you alot more. Better off just buying him out.. but that money is going to sting just as bad with how much term is left.

Considering several teams were looking to draft him in the 2nd round, this statement is just a troll comment.

Teams made bad decisions all the time, doesn't mean the teams that didn't have him on at all, which many did, would want to touch him at all.

Trading for a sex criminal would be one of the few things that would make me step away from the Devils.

Habs seemed to be fine with it....I could have seen CHI be okay with it to considering their track record with dealing with sex criminals... That's not at all a shot at the Blackhawk fans, I get they are upset and I hope the Blackhawks of today actually fix that culture.

My goodness, Habs fans are undervaluing the Devils 2OV pick.

Just to put things into perspective here, what would the habs trade the 1st OV pick this year for? Basically for all intensive purposes, the cost to get that pick from MTL is the same cost to get 2OV from the Devils.

Dumba isn't available, Bill Guerin already said that he's going to resign him.

And no thanks don't want Petry anywhere near Detroit. he can go elsewhere.
