This changes everything. Obviously the Capitals are a threat to any team regardless of who is playing. They did not win 100+ games in 2 years for no reason. I do think that this current Penguins team can take 2 out of 4 games against them. I would say last night was the best they played all series and it came at the cost of 2 forwards.

Also, right call on no suspension for Niskanen. I think the 5 and a game was stern enough, and just because a player is injured doesn't make a play suspendable. It was a shitty hit and he had full intentions of hitting him on the numbers before he dropped to a knee, but that play happens 100x a game.

The game is over, the diagnosis is over, and the contemplation for discipline is over. All you can do is hope for the absolute best for Crosby and Sheary, and be happy when you see them raise the cup in June!
