woof what an over payment, and the leafs still cant re-sign miller so they give all that up for a year of Miller, a worse player than Nylander and a middling 32 year old bottom pairing defender

I really don't like how you split up kampf and marner in the penalty kill. They work fabulously together and create scoring chances for them.

Simmonds also shouldn't be on the PP.

Give all of that up? - Nylander = Miller + Schenn ... Garland = Robertson + #1 pick 2022 ... Niemella+Holl = comp for taking Mrazek ... #1 pick 2023 = comp for retaining 50% salary
Can't re-sign Miller? Why not?
PK pairings are interchangeable.
Simmonds on the PP replaces JT's net front presence and gives him a purpose in the lineup other than getting 2 hits and 2 PIMs per game. - Can be replaced on the #1 unit with Mikheyev/Kerfoot/Kase if Simmonds doesn't work out there.
Engvall is just horrendous - he can be moved elsewhere (anywhere) for a mid-round pick NP. He isn't worth $1m IMO, nevermind $2m like most people on here seem to want to sign him for.
