Awful for both sides, Leafs give up the best player in the trade, 2 great prospects and 2 firsts for 1 year of JT miller and a worse version of Nylander in Garland

Miller is the best player in that trade and I'm not sure Robertson qualifies as a great prospect but I agree that it's awful.

Contract holdout aside, Nylander is better than Miller, Millers a lot more well rounded, he can defend and be trusted to play centre, but Nylander has the talent to break games, he’s just kinda lazy

I'll take the well rounded, not lazy player who had 99 points last season over the lazy player with 80 points any day. Miller is the better player.

You can take whoever you want bud, both of us are biased, but Nylander is an elite skater, much better finisher, much betted playdriver and if you’re going off points, Nylander for last 40 or so games played half his shifts on the 3rd line and still put up 80
