MTL would have to add on Seattle trade, could keep a 1st on the Caufield trade and get a little more on the Suzuki trade.

But i get the point of your thread, it would be amazing to have all those 1st in 2023. MTL would have a good shot at winning the lottery, maybe even twice.

Fans would lose their minds... but the team would really be something in 2025!

Arizona is actively tanking for a shot at Bedard or Michkov. Gotta think their 1st's are untouchable

No chance San Jose trades their best defenseman and a 1st, chance at a top lottery pick, for nothing

It does not guarantee Habs get Bedard because of the lottery

I was thinking it was for 11.5M in cap-flexibility for the next 5 years (which is NOT nothing) but I take your point. We can throw in Petry maybe? Karlsson is no longer who he was since the injury.

You mean one of the worst contract in the NHL and a 1st right?

Haha I mean he isn’t playing that well to make that money however he scored at a .70ppg rate this year. He can still play

No, I’d rather keep the better defenseman and have a chance at a top pick in 23
