In my opinion this team should tank at least two seasons.
However, seems like they don't want it.
So, the alternative way is here:

if the leafs want to spend less than a mill on an AHL goalie who wont play for them, they'll just buy mrazek out and keep the 1st

I actually think these are really good "competitive retool" moves. Not sure we need to trade for Killer since we could just sign Palat, but its not like we would be giving up much.

Also, we won't sign Subban (and don't need to).

Nope. It's just 3.8% of the cap for 2 years - and he's a useful player.
