In what world is 30 to 35 point a year Wood worth Sandin alone? Have to do better than a 20 man roster.

Haha, yeah...I mean, Wood is a pretty solid non-tender candidate (though the Devs have cap room, so it's probably slightly more likely that they tender him a contract), and McLeod is ok-ish...

Kerfoot had 50 pts this year, Anderson (mehhhhhhh), and Sandin looks like he'll be a solid second pairing guy.

Would adding Zacha or Boqvist make it more of an even trade? (cap numbers aside)

Why would you include Sandin in this? Its way closer without him

Wood is coming off a major injury and has a QO that make his salary/return questionable if he doesn't come back to full form. I suspect he will be fine, but Devils will likely keep him and if he doesn't fit into their long-term plans, trade him after he has regained some value.

McLeod is a 4C role player, but other than Nico, our only guy that can win a face-off.

Valuewise, its good for NJ. Just not a trade TOR likely offers and not pieces NJD are eager to move in short-term.

Depends what they are looking for...all provide different attributes

Wood - left winger, provides size, speed, physicality, forechecking and shot volume
McLeod - center, plays heavier, provides forechecking, defense, face-offs
Boqvist - center, plays lighter, provides speed, skill, versatility
Zacha - center or left winger, inconsistent defensively, more offense from wing, decent shot, can push through physical play, but doesn't initiate
