Leafs - VAN

Created by: HollywoodHudon
Team: 2022-23 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: May 26, 2022
Published: May 26, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Holl is better and younger than Schenn and has lots of time and experience playing with Dermott.

Mrazek is the veteran backup VAN can use while DiPietro/Martin figure things out in the AHL.

Robertson is a young high-end prospect needing a new chance to elevate his game.

The #1 for VAN retaining 1/2 of Miller's $$$ is the cherry on top to make this a very good deal for both teams.

Adding a mid round pick or a B prospect wouldn't change anything from the Leafs side of things, so if necessary, can be added to get the deal done.

I am no 'Nucks lineup specialist, so edit the lineup however you see fit. :)

No thank you.... Put another first on it then maybe. The only exciting piece for Canucks is Robertson.

There will be far superior offers from other teams for a half-priced year of Miller.

"Mrazek is the veteran backup VAN can use while DiPietro/Martin figure things out in the AHL." Isn't that just fantasy that any team wants 3.8m X 2 years of Mrzarek?

Although I think Holl is better than most Leafs fans give him credit for, I would take Schenn on the back end instead given list lower cap hit.

Speaking of cap hits that are bloody useless.....Mrazek. He's currently 'working it out in the AHL' while Spencer Martin is NHL ready.
