Looks pretty good to me. I think we are nearing consensus on top-6 guys.

Defense: I'd think Mateychuk falls a little lower, Pickering is taken a litter earlier. I'm thinking 1st round dmen will be

1. Nemec
2. Jiricek
3. Mintyukov
4. Chesley
5. Pickering
6. Korchinski
7. Mateychuk
8. Bischel

2nd round: Odelius, Fisher, Rinzel, Casey, Hamara, Hutson, Morden, Luneau, Lamoureux
3rd round: Lindgren, Salomonsson, Grudinin, Healey, George, Duda, Nelson

Forwards: After the first few, I'd expect the 2nd tier of Lekkerimaki, Kemell, Nazar, Lambert to in 7-10 range.

The real tricky part is that third tier of forwards that could be spread out between picks 10-32

Yurov, Gauthier, Miroshnichenko, Mesar, Howard, Ostlund, Kasper, Geekie, McGroarty, Snuggerud, Firkus, del bel Belluz, Ohgren, Kulich, Goyette, Ingram, Hughes, Lorenz, Bystedt

That's a pretty conclusive list.

Overall in my opinion guys like Slafkovsky, Geekie, Kasper, Korchinski and Casey will go a little higher, and I'd expect guys like Lambert (unless NYI takes him early after hiring his uncle as head coach), Yurov, Trikozov, Mesar and Chesley go little lower. But the differences in that regard are very, very small.

You think isles hiring his uncle makes it less likely they take Lambert?

Nice list dude!

I’ve got some guys higher and others lower. It’s going to be interesting to see who falls to the 2nd round. Because outside of the top 10, it’s a crap shoot. I’ve see so many different takes it could go a multiple of ways.

Just going to highlight Adam Sýkora, love the player and where you have him. Would love it if the Leafs could pick him.

Whoops, that's a typo.

I meant unless they take him now because they hired Lane.

Question. Is Jack Hughes on this list because I’ve looked it over two times and he isn’t there. I could have missed him tho

I wouldn't say his stock has fallen, he's pretty much always been around late 1st/2nd territory

Savoie before Slafkovski is bad, as he probably goes 2nd to NJ if they don't trade the pick. Not even sure Savoie makes the top 5.

Lekkerimaki at 7 is a huge reach, and since Ottawa already did that with Boucher last year, not sure they do it again. They will pick BPA.

No way MTL doesn't pick Luneau if he's still available at 27 or 33.

The only reasons I can think of that would make me take Slafkovsky over Savoie are Slafkovsky's size and the fact that he's been great at the Worlds and Olympics. But if you look at his season in Liiga, he shouldn't go 2OA. Savoie is better in almost every category except for size. Slafkovsky has become overrated, two tournaments shouldn't make a player rise from Top 10 pick to Top 2 pick.

This isn't a mock draft. I'm not saying Ottawa will pick Lekkerimäki, these are draft rankings. But no, he isn't a reach.

Again, these are draft rankings. This is not a mock draft. There are better players than Luneau at 27 and 33 anyway.

Hope Sýkora gets more respect until the draft, he's been so good this year. Should definitely go in the first half of the 1st round.
