White's deal doesn't hurt Ottawa enough to justify trading Thomson and a 2nd for Strome. Not tremendously impressed with Strome and think he's a bad fit in terms of what Ottawa is looking for.

Ottawa and Vegas decline.
The Toronto pit and NJ trades are pretty terrible for the hawks. Might be one of the worst Kane trades I've seen on here

The idea of taking on players that have negative value for their age or contract is exactly what rebuilding teams need to do! I don't see the Muzzin trade making sense. Guy is really good when he is healthy. If history is any indicator, someone will pay more for him
