I think the Habs are not opposed to taking on Salary short term with assets. (provided Price is really retired) Maybe throw in a 3rd or 4th round pick and the Habs accept.

Yet again, the zombie Muzzin-to-Los-Angeles pipe dream.

Los Angeles isn't interested in this effort to shed significant cap.

Absolutely no interest in installing Jake Muzzin 2.0 even if he would waive his NTC, plus we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Jake's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to re-acquire Muzz. Will you Toronto guys please stop doing this? It's like the Montreal guys with their silly Jeff-Petry-to-Detroit trades. And the idea that we would trade Trevor Moore back to you for him is absolutely cuckoo.

Los Angeles isn't buying Muzzin from you for a third-round pick even if he came with life AHLer Dahlstrom.

It's hard to find a good goalie. He's worth more to your team than a top 6 forward that leaves in 3 years and a late first. He also brings you farther in the playoffs.
