Description
This is for another site so......

1. Buffalo fans, back off, I don't care what you think. (I should have just included "Buffalo Says No" in the title). It could have been ANY team I included here.
2. Anaheim fans, I'm not sure of the desire to move Comtois. He is most likely a bigger part of their future over a trade piece at present. I am interested in your opinions here though.
3. Leafs fans, please be silent. I'm not interested in reading your overvalued perception of our own players.

Thanks in advance.

Well, u were right
Buffalo declines
I don’t see us having interest

Instead of trolling Sabres fans,
all u had to do was pick a different team to send him to
Would’ve been easy

Engvall's possession numbers are pretty solid. Id do that. We'd have to make room for him though.

Logic is good. Thanks for your intelligent response.

The Leafs could likely keep him too. He is an effective player. I just don't want to overpay to keep him as a 4th line guy and I like the idea of more snarl on the 4th line.

Yeah with the cap crunch you wanna get efficient with the bottom six, makes sense. I really like him for the Sabres actually, especially on the third line. But they'd probably have to move mittelstadt and put Asplund back at C or acquire a new one. Both of which I would do, but I don't think the Sabres wanna move Casey yet.

A massive overpayment by the Leafs in that Arizona trade. Comtois doesn't deserve nearing that love.
Pro rated Comtois had 25 points last season, but the Leafs give Robertson and and first for him. But 35 point Engvall gets a third rounder in return.
Why do Leaf fans hate their own so much?
Kings have no desire to take on all that cap for two years.

They don't "hate" them. Quite the contrary. The overvalue them.

As far as LA goes... It depends on how much they would value adding a top line RW. The rest of the money is very doable with their cap situation.

That's the issue for that money....the Kings could sign a quality UFA and more and no give up any assets.

If the Kings want as short term RWer, a think Nylander is a good fit for them.

Horrible trade for Los Angeles. We give up three guys in the top half of their positions (two top-6 forwards and a top-4 defenseman) and get two years of Nylander, a hideously overpriced aging declining veteran LD, and a ton of additional cap. Absolutely horrid. Trading one top-4 RW for another isn't adding to our team, it's upgrading, and Roy is more valuable to us than Muzzin would be. We could probably re-sign Alex Edler for half Muzzin's cap hit and get the same results, judging from Muzzin's regular-season figures.

For the record, here are the numbers for Edler and Muzzin:
Edler, 41 games, 3 goals, 19 points, +18, 52.1 Corsi, 54.4 Fenwick
Muzzin, 47 games, 3 goals, 14 points, -6 , 48.1 Corsi, 47.9 Fenwick.

I don't see why LA would want to move Arvidsson (unless he has complications with his surgery). They will likely take another crack at Chychrun for their top 4 needs, and add another top 6 player by moving out some younger players or through FAs. Who knows if they would actually be interested in Muzzin (if he waives for them) but they probably would still go after Chychrun if they were to get him in a cap dump for relatively cheap.

Forgot about Roy, doubt he goes anywhere unless it's in a trade for a top 6 forward and they are able to replace him
