I'd rather have 5 years of team control with Caufield and what should be a top 6C with the 1OA instead of 2 years of Nylander (who with MTL's current lineup is likely a 60 point winger not an 80 point guy) and Clarke (although a high end RD prospect is high on the shopping list). Kerfoot and likely LTIRetired Price have minimal impact on the trade value.

I believe his stronger side is the left, he's just the best at playing RD from LD who can or have on the Leafs
